This little fat book -The Condensed Encyclopedia of Healing Foods by Michael Murray N.D., Joseph Pizzorno N.D., and Lara Pizzorno M.A.,L.M.T., is a wealth of information for the person wishing to increase his nutritional intake, change to better eating habits and concentrate on eating more vitamins or mineral-rich food to combat disease.

It is more than an encyclopedia; it offers prescriptions as to which foods to eat for more than seventy common ailments ranging from the common cold to hives and gout to asthma.

The aim of the book is to help us understand how foods can be used to rejuvenate the body and heal symptoms of body disorders.
