Did you know that there is one thing more powerful than the Word of God? Would you say the Bible is powerful? Would you say the Bible has some power behind it? Would you say it is sharper than any two-edge sword?
Do you know that there is something actually more powerful than the Word of God? Do you know what that something is? TRADITION.
Many people don’t know that. Jesus said twice by traditions men have made void the Word of God. Ouch. Tradition is one powerful force. In other words, man’s ideas about certain subjects and the relationship to the Bible, render the Bible completely ineffective in our lives. Because of tradition, many Christians have preconceived ideas that are unscriptural. Tradition is what causes us to believe things that are not true. Tradition does more damage than we could possibly imagine.
When tradition or a way of thinking is more important than what the Bible says to a person that tradition has made the Word of God void. So throw out your tradition. Throw out the tradition of man, and let us take what the Bible says .
When it comes to general medicine, I believe that we all must be open to new ideas and therioes. If we keep the tradition we have been taught we might miss important diagnostic testing that is available. Prevention is a huge advantage we have over our older relatives. Prevention is the key. Once I learned to leave my traditonal thinking of medicine and trust my doctors and my intuition I became a lot healthier.
